Tony Roberts

Chair

Tony Roberts co-founded Coda International in 1987 after volunteering as a computer trainer in Nicaragua. He was Director of Coda International until 1997 when he founded Computer Aid International (a spin-off from Coda). In 2010 Tony stood down as CEO of Computer Aid to complete a PhD in the use of digital technologies in international development. He is now a Research Fellow and the co-lead on Digital & Technology research at the Institute of Development Studies from where he consults for DFID, the government of Zanzibar, the Humanitarian Innovation Fund and the Human Development Innovation Fund. Tony rejoined Coda International in 2018 as Chair of Trustees.
